1992 was an important one for Finnegan’s Christmas trees as it marked the planting of our first field of trees and the start of my family. Both have grown considerably since then but now the children are older the trees take up most of my time!
From our beginnings in the early nineties we expanded and continued to plant more trees. We currently have over 75,000 trees on our Tyrone farm. We grow three varieties including Noble Fir, Fraser fir and Nordmann Fir.
Early on at Finnegan’s Christmas Trees we made the decision to focus on the production of a superior high quality tree for the wholesale market. By far the most popular variety here is the Nordmann, it is also the most popular variety in the UK and Ireland.
